ABOUT US
Steve Newman was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) on August 12, 2016. A wonderful husband to Susan and a loving father and step-father to Myles, Olivia and Elliot, Steve’s attitude to both life and his crushing diagnosis underlined everything that was unique about him.

Family and friends have united in grief to celebrate Steve’s impact on their lives by taking the sort of step he would have taken….a positive one.
The Steve Newman Blue Sky Foundation will provide vital funds for the cash-strapped services which treated Steve so valiantly throughout his battle. They never once let him down and we want to provide the same support for other people fighting this life-changing disease.
“Even in the toughest times both Steve and I were struck by the level of care and dedication each nursing professional gave to us,”
Sue explained, “Although Steve sadly passed away on November 21 2017, aged 50 years, his legacy lives on in a foundation which reminds us all of the need to be hopeful of one day finding a cure for this terrible disease.”
